The next stop is the town of Santa Cruz, home to the emblematic Catholic Church of the Black Christ. At this point, visitors learn about the livestock, agricultural, and productive work of Coope‑Tortilla, with tastings of traditional dishes at various stops. The tour continues to Nicoya, the oldest colonial city in Costa Rica, where participants visit its historic church—one of the oldest in the country—along with the Casa de la Cultura, the central park, and surrounding areas. In the district of Nambí, there is a tasting of the traditional coyol wine, a beverage characteristic of the region. Finally, the tour visits Guaitil, recognized as the birthplace of Chorotega pottery, where visitors can observe the artisanal process and the pieces created by the local artisan community.
